Planning Board Meeting - IN-PERSON ONLY!!!
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo will hold a meeting at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, NY on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 7:30pm.
Planning Board members will attend in-person. Until further notice, applicants, their representatives, and interested members of the public must also attend the meeting in-person. Written comment on matters on the agenda for a public hearing may be submitted to the Planning Board Secretary by mail or email, but must be received no later than 4:00 PM on the date of the hearing. The Planning Board will open public hearings on the following application(s) at 7:30 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, for the purpose of allowing the public to be heard on those matters, and the hearing may thereafter be closed or continued. Links to files containing the application and supporting documents are available on the Town website using the meeting agenda posted on the Town website. The application file is also available for review in the Building Department at Town Hall during normal business hours.
- Re-affirm Unlisted Negative Declaration of December 21, 2020. Application of Mosdos Koloshits, 3 Nesher Court, Monsey, NY 10952 for Amended Final Site Plan Approval of a site development plan entitled “Mosdos Koloshits”, proposing to add temporary trailers to previously approved 1.93-acre school site. The trailers will serve as classrooms and administrative offices during construction of the new 4-story school building, and will be removed from the site when the new school building is complete. The property is located at 99 & 101 Highview Road on the South side Highview Road approximately 487 feet East of Spook Rock Road, is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 56.05-1-7, and is located in a R-25 Zone. On December 21, 2020, the Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA Action, determined that preparation of an environmental impact statement was not required, and that a SEQRA negative declaration would be issued.
- Application of W Maple Cottages LLC, 1 Executive Blvd, Ste. 101, Suffern, NY 10901, for Final Site Plan Approval of a site development plan entitled “Maplewood Meadows”, proposing a 28-unit, multi-family building on 1.06-acres. Existing residences to be demolished. The property is located at 16 W Maple Avenue and 1 Maplewood Avenue, Monsey, NY with parking proposed at 2 Maplewood Lane on the north side of W Maple Ave, approximately 100 feet east of Elyon Road, is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lots 56.07-4-22, 29 & 30 and is located in an R-15C Zone. On December 10, 2024, the Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA Action, determined that preparation of an environmental impact statement was not required, and that a SEQRA negative declaration would be issued.
