Planning Board Meeting - IN-PERSON ONLY!!!
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo will hold a meeting at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, NY on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 7:30pm.
Planning Board members will attend in-person. Until further notice, applicants, their representatives, and interested members of the public must also attend the meeting in-person. Written comment on matters on the agenda for a public hearing may be submitted to the Planning Board Secretary by mail or email, but must be received no later than 4:00 PM on the date of the hearing. The Planning Board will open public hearings on the following application(s) at 7:30 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, for the purpose of allowing the public to be heard on those matters, and the hearing may thereafter be closed or continued. Links to files containing the application and supporting documents are available on the Town website using the meeting agenda posted on the Town website. The application file is also available for review in the Building Department at Town Hall during normal business hours.
- Application of HiRise Developers Inc., 6 Melnick Drive, Ste. 205, Monsey, NY 10952 for Final Subdivision Approval of a subdivision plan entitled “137 S. Central Avenue”, proposing to subdivide the 0.411-acre lot into two lots and to construct a new single-family dwelling on one lot with the existing single dwelling to remain on the second lot. The property is located at 137 S. Central Avenue, Spring Valley on the North side Noyes Avenue approximately 685 feet East of Fairview Avenue, is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 57.18-2-26, and is located in a R-15 Zone. On January 28, 2025, the Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA Action, determined that preparation of an environmental impact statement was not required, and that a SEQRA negative declaration would be issued.
- Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and final site plan, with respect to an application of Barbara Schwimmer, 19 Jeffrey Place, Monsey, NY 10952, for approval of a site development plan entitled “3 Jeffrey Pl”, proposing an additional curb cut. The property in question is located at 3 Jeffrey Place, Monsey, NY on the east side of Jeffrey Place, approximately 80 feet north of Maple Avenue, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 56.08-3-34 and is located in an R-15C Zone. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.
- Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and final site plan, with respect to an application of Remsen Enterprising, LLC, 7 Cardinal Lane, Monsey, NY 10952, for approval of a site development plan entitled “11 Eastview Rd”, proposing an additional curb cut. The property in question is located at 11 Eastview Road, Monsey, NY on the east side of Eastview Road, approximately 260 feet west of Hershel Terrace, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 56.07-2-51 and is located in an R-15A Zone. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.
