NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Town Board of the Town of Ramapo, that pursuant to the New York State Municipal Home Rule Law and New York State Town Law, a PUBLIC HEARING will be held on the 15th day of August, 2019 at 7:00 o’clock P.M. (Prevailing Time), or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, New York 10901 to consider the amendment by resolution of the Town of Ramapo Comprehensive Plan, including the Housing and Future Land Use sections, with respect to the consideration and location of multifamily housing in the Town.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a copy of the proposed Comprehensive Plan amendments, a related proposed local law to amend the Zoning Map of the Town of Ramapo, and supporting documentation in connection with it, including the Draft and Final Environmental Impact Statements for Pascack Ridge, together with a Technical Addendum prepared in response to comments on the Final Environmental Impact Statement on the Pascack Ridge rezoning action, are available for inspection during normal business hours at the Town of Ramapo Building Department and the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Ramapo. Those documents are also available on the Town’s website at WWW.RAMAPO.ORG.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that all persons interested in the above matter will be given an opportunity to be heard at said Public Hearing.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that all interested parties shall also have the opportunity to be heard and submit written comments at said Public Hearing upon the aforesaid Technical Addendum prepared in response to comments on the Final Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed Pascack Ridge rezoning. The Town Board, as SEQRA lead agency for the proposed action, requests the submission of written comments on the Technical Addendum to the Town Clerk on or before August 30, 2019.
