Planning Board Meeting March 12, 2024 at 8:00 pm - IN-PERSON ONLY!!!
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo will hold a meeting at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, NY on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 8:00pm.
Planning Board members will attend in-person. Until further notice, applicants, their representatives, and interested members of the public must also attend the meeting in-person. Written comment on matters on the agenda for a public hearing may be submitted to the Planning Board Secretary by mail or email, but must be received no later than 4:00 PM on the date of the hearing. The Planning Board will open public hearings on the following application(s) at 8:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, for the purpose of allowing the public to be heard on those matters, and the hearing may thereafter be closed or continued. Links to files containing the application and supporting documents are available on the Town website using the meeting agenda posted on the Town website. The application file is also available for review in the Building Department at Town Hall during normal business hours.
- Application of Pascack Estates, LLC c/o Herman Schwartz, 2 Chip Circle, Montebello, NY 10901, for Final Site Plan and Final Subdivision approval of a subdivision plan entitled “171 N Pascack Road”, proposing a 7-lot subdivision, with one of the rear lots being dedicated to the Town for use as a public road as part of an adjacent subdivision, and the additional 6 lots proposed to have two-family residences on the 3.47-acre site. The three existing structures will be demolished. The property in question is located at 171 N Pascack Road, Spring Valley, NY on the West side of Pascack Road, approximately 0 feet South of a private road known as Ewing Avenue Extension, is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 50.19-1-72 and is located in an R-15 Zone. On June 13, 2023, the Planning Board classified the proposed action as a Type 1 SEQRA Action, determined that preparation of an environmental impact statement was not required, and that a SEQRA negative declaration would be issued.
