WE HAVE RECEIVED NOTICE THAT AN INDIVIDUAL APPEARING AT THE TOWN OF RAMAPO JUSTICE COURT ON THURSDAY NOVEMBER 12, 2020 BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 1:00 PM AND 2:00 PM HAS TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19.

  CLEANING PROTOCOLS ARE BEING FOLLOWED AT THE COURT AND IN TOWN HALL AND NOTIFICATIONS ARE ONGOING. 

 PLEASE REMEMBER TO ABIDE BY SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES AND WEAR MASKS COVERING YOUR MOUTH AND NOSE AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN THE BUILDING.

TRAFFIC:

Justice Court fines and suspension lift fees may be paid either at the Justice Court window, by telephone or online.  Please review the information in the box on the right prior to making your payment.

SUSPENSION LIFT FEES:

PAYMENT OF SUSPENSION LIFT FEES WILL BE PROCESSED ON THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY.  DMV WILL BE NOTIFIED THAT THE SUSPENSION SHOULD BE LIFTED ONCE THE FEES ARE PROCESSED.  PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IT COULD TAKE 72 HOURS, OR MORE, FOR DMV TO PROCESS THE SUSPENSION LIFT NOTIFICATION. 

 

SMALL CLAIMS:

Small Claims matters are lawsuits where the Plaintiff is seeking money damages in an amount up to $3,000.00.

The Town of Ramapo Justice Court hears Small Claims matters on the Civil court dates listed above.
