Marriage License

Marriage License application process is available by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please call 845-357-5100 ext. 906 to schedule your appointment.

Both parties must be at least 18 years of age.

At the time of your scheduled appointment, both parties must be present and must provide:

Original Birth Certificate

Photo ID- current, goverment-issued picture ID (Driver’s License or Passport)

If divorced, certified copy of Judgement(s) of Divorce for all previous marriages

If widow or widower, death certificate of former spouse

Marriage license must be obtained at least 24 hours, but not more than 60 days before marriage; active members of Armed Forces not more than 180 days before marriage.

$40.00 fee - A convenience fee will be applied for credit or debit cards- Please note our system does not accept Discover

Please note, foreign documents must be translated.

Marriage Officer is available by appointment to perform Marriage Ceremonies at a fee of $100.

Marriage Transcripts

Marriage Transcripts are the legal equivalent to an original Certificate of Marriage that is available to the bride or groom (proper identification required).

The fee for a Marriage Transcript in $10.00
