LEGAL NOTICE

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a public hearing will be held, in person, by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Ramapo on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 7:15 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, New York on the following matters:

Application # 22-311:  Sorah Bleier, 10 Timothy Court, Monsey, New York, for variances of the requirements of Section 376-41 of the Zoning Law of the Town of Ramapo to permit the construction, maintenance and use of  a single-family dwelling, which will have less than the required front setback, front yard, side setback and total side setback. The property in question is: 10 Timothy Court, Monsey, New York, located on the east side of Timothy Court, approximately 580 feet south from the intersection of Underwood Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax map as Section 49.11-2-22 in an R-40 zone. 

Application # 22-310:  Jacob Steiner, 4 Caville Drive, Monsey, New York, for variances of the requirements of Section 376-41 of the Zoning Law of the Town of Ramapo to permit the construction, maintenance and use of  an addition of a synagogue to an existing single-family dwelling, which will have less than the required lot width, side setback, total side setback, parking, greater than permitted development coverage and greater than permitted floor area ratio. A variance will also be required from Section 376-5, in which building will be less than fifty (50%) percent attached. The property in question is: 4 Caville Drive, Monsey, New York, located on the east side of Caville Drive, approximately 80 feet north from the intersection of Old Nyack Turnpike, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax map as Section 56.20-3-7 in an R-15A zone.  

Application # 22-322: Jacob Silberstein, 17 Edwin Lane, Monsey, New York, for the variances of the requirements of Section 376-41 of the Zoning Law of the Town of Ramapo to permit the construction, maintenance and use of a two-lot subdivision, consisting of a three family dwelling, with three accessory apartments on each lot, which will have less than the required rear setback, rear setback (deck), greater than permitted development coverage and greater than permitted floor area ratio. A variance will also be required from Section 376-65G (3) in which a three-family residence not constructed townhouse style are permitted only one accessory apartment. The property in question is: 64 Saddle River Road, Monsey, New York, located on the west side of Saddle River Road, approximately 100 feet south from the intersection of Grove Street, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section 56.11-3-12.2 in an R-15C zone.

Application # 22-318: Harvey Spitz, 23 Briarcliff Drive, Monsey, New York, for the variances of the requirements of Section 376-41 of the Zoning Law of the Town of Ramapo to permit the construction, maintenance and use of and addition to a single-family dwelling, which will have less than the required lot area, total side setback, rear setback and greater than permitted floor area ratio. The property in question is: 23 Briarcliff Drive, Monsey, New York, located on the north side of Briarcliff Drive, approximately 523 feet west from the intersection of Hilltop Lane, which is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section 56.07-3-35 in an R-15 zone.

Application # 22-319: Aaron Silberman, 2 Stysly Lane, Spring Valley, New York, for the variances of the requirements of Section 376-41 of the Zoning Law of the Town of Ramapo to permit the construction, maintenance and use of a single-family dwelling with one accessory apartment, which will have less than the required lot area, total side setback and greater than permitted floor area ratio. The property in question is: 5 Miele Road, Monsey, New York, located on the south side of Miele Road, approximately 350 feet east from the intersection of Saddle River Road, which is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section 56.15-32 in an R-15A zone.

Application # 22-320: Alexander Steiner, 20 Jeffrey Place, Monsey, New York, for the variances of the requirements of Section 376-52C of the Zoning Law of the Town of Ramapo to permit the construction, maintenance and use of a three-family dwelling with three accessory apartments, which will require a variance in that a fence or wall more than six (6) feet in height must be setback from the lot line a distance to 2/3 its height. The property in question is: 20 Jeffrey Place, Monsey, New York, located on the north side of Jeffrey Place, approximately 260 feet east from the intersection of Howard Drive, which is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section 56.08-3-46 in an R-15C zone.

Application # 22-321: Devorah Lefkowitz, 1 Fred Eller Drive, Monsey, New York, for the variances of the requirements of Section 376-41 of the Zoning Law of the Town of Ramapo to permit the construction, maintenance and use of a two-family dwelling, which will have less than required lot area, lot width, side setback, total side setback, street frontage, greater than permitted development coverage and greater than permitted floor area ratio. The property in question is: 1 Fred Eller Drive, Monsey, New York, located on the south side of Fred Eller Drive, approximately 128 feet west from the intersection of Saddle River Road, which is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section 56.15-3-16 in an R-15A zone.
