Public Hearing Changed to June 24, 2020 7:05PM to Consider A Local Law to Amend and Revise Various Provisions of the Town Ethics Law

NOTICE OF ADJOURNED PUBLIC HEARING

 

            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Town Board of the Town of Ramapo, that pursuant to provisions of the Town Law of the State of New York, a Public Hearing will be held at 7:05P.M. (Prevailing Time) at the Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, New York, 10901, on the 24th day of   June 2020 to consider amendment of a Local Law entitled “A Local Law to Amend and Revise Various Provisions of the Town Ethics Law”. The Town Board at said time and place will hear all persons lawfully entitled to be heard regarding the Proposed Local Law to amended the Town Ethics Law to include provisions of that Law which were previously approved by the Town Board, but not included in the Local Law transmitted to the Secretary of State for filing. A copy of the proposed Local Law is on file with the Town Clerk.

           Those documents are also available on the Town’s website at WWW.RAMAPO.ORG. The Town of Ramapo will make every effort to assure that the Public Hearing is accessible to persons with disabilities. Anyone requiring special assistance and/or reasonable accommodations should contact the Town Clerk. In the event that in-person attendance is not permitted because of the COVID-19 Executive Orders by the New York State Governor, then procedures for a Public Hearing by ZOOM will be timely posted on the Town website at WWW.RAMAPO.ORG
