PROCEDURE FOR WATCHTOWER PUBLIC HEARINGS
THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF RAMAPO WILL HOLD PUBLIC HEARINGS ON THE WATCHTOWER COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND ZONING AMENDMENTS VIA ZOOM
DATE & TIME: Concurrent Public Hearings January 26, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time

2. Zoning Amendments
Please take notice that the Town Board is holding this public hearing to allow the public to be heard on the revised zoning and Comprehensive Plan amendments. It is NOT a SEQRA hearing within the meaning of 6 NYCRR 617.9 for comments on the DEIS or the draft FEIS. A SEQRA public hearing on the DEIS was held on May 26, 2021 and closed to allow preparation of a draft FEIS, which has not yet been accepted by the Town Board.
Due to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Declaration of Emergency and Health Department guidance, the January 22, 2022 Town Board Meeting will be held via the ZOOM Conferencing platform as set forth below with no in person attendance.
Public Hearing Pre-Registration: If you wish to pre-register to speak at the Watchtower Public Hearings, which will be held concurrently, please send your name, address, and email address to osherovitzs@ramapo.org no later than thirty (30) minutes prior to the Town Board Meeting.
Public Hearing Participation: When the concurrent public hearings are opened to the public, speakers who signed up with the Town Clerk to speak will be heard first, in the order they did so. Then, the meeting moderator will invite anyone else in the audience who wishes to speak to use the Zoom dashboard to raise their hand.
INSTRUCTIONS TO ENTER THE PUBLIC MEETING: If you have a computer, tablet or smartphone, you can register, login and see the video and audio of the live session.
You can access the Meeting by downloading the ZOOM application and be ready to hear and/or watch the Meeting when the Meeting starts.
