Town of Ramapo Italian Twinning Committee Honors

Marie Penso Belanich, President of the Town of Ramapo Italian Twinning Committee announces its 9^th Annual Dinner Dance on Saturday, February 19 at the Colonial Inn, Norwood, New Jersey.

The committee is honoring Dr. Rosanne Martorella, Ph.D., college professor of Sociology at Willliam Paterson University and a past Princeton University Fellow, published author in social research, and travel lecturer; and

Mr. Paul Guarino, prominent caterer and benefactor of Italian-American Scholarships to needy students.

The goal of the Italian Twinning Committee program is to promote an educational and cultural exchange between the youth of Ramapo, New York and Andretta, Italy.

In order to send and receive students to and from Italy, the Italian Twinning Committee must raise sufficient funds. To achieve this goal, the committee sponsors a Dinner-Dance in February and a Golf Tournament in June.
