GENERAL POLICIES & PROCEDURES

Season and Dress Code

All courts will be open April 7th- November 17, 2007 (weather permitting). All players are required to wear shirts, socks, non-marking tennis shoes (no black soles allowed), and to follow all court regulations. No private ball hoppers or ball machines allowed on town courts.

Facilities that require Tennis ID cards:

Ramapo Tennis Center @ Weldler Park -

Sunday-Friday 8:00am- 10:00pm

Saturdays 8:00 am - 11:00 pm

Due to Town league play limited access may be available for public use on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Other Facilities available for Town Residents-No Facility ID Required:

*All Town Sponsored classes and events take precedent.

Children’s Park - Daily 8:00 am – Dusk

See facility attendant for court access.

Clark Recreation Center - Daily 8:00 am – Dusk

Orchard Hills - Daily 8:00 am – Dusk

Herb Reisman Sports Complex - Daily 8:00 am - 11:00 pm

Fees (required for Ramapo Tennis Center @ Weldler Park):

All tennis players are required to show a Valid ID Card or to purchase an hourly

coupon for each hour of play. The pricing schedule for tennis is as follows:

ID Card Fees:

Adult (18 years - 59 years) $60.00

Youth ( 5 years - 17 years) $30.00

Senior Citizens (60 years & over) $15.00

Fees for non-ID Card Holder:

Hourly Coupon (lights included) $15.00/hr per person

Tennis Court Reservations (Ramapo Tennis Center @ Weldler Park only)

Reservations will be accepted as follows:

*Resident ID card holders may call for reservations from 9:00 am - 11:00 am

for the following day. From 11:00 am on, anyone may call and reserve a court.

*All reservations for singles and doubles are for a one-hour period, but may

be extended in the event that the court remains available at the end of play.

ALL players will be required to present their ID or purchase a coupon before commencing play.
