Zoning Board of Appeals to hold Public Hearings

LEGAL NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a public hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Ramapo on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 8:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, New York on the following matters:

 

Application of Aish Hatorah New York, Inc., 382 Route 59, Suite 101, Airmont, New York for variances of the requirements of Section 376-121 (A) (6) of the Zoning Law of the Town of Ramapo, to permit the construction, maintenance and use of a school and a dormitory which will have less than the required buffer along the east and west sides of the property. The property in question is located on the north side of Carlton Road, approximately 298 feet west from the intersection West Maple Avenue, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section 49.19-3-73, 74 and 76 in an R-35 zone.

  Application of Israel and Chaya B. Oster, 20 Sunrise Drive, Monsey, New York, for variances of the requirements of Section 376-41 of the Zoning Law of the Town of Ramapo to permit the conversion, maintenance and use of a single family dwelling to a two family dwelling, which will have less than the required lot area, front setback (Sunrise Drive), front yard (Sunrise Drive), front setback (Park Lane), front yard (Park Lane), rear setback, and rear setback (deck). The property in question is located on the south side of Sunrise Drive, 0 feet west from the intersection of Park Lane, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section 56.08-4-30 in an R-15C zone.

 

Application of Moshe Teitelboym, 1 Meadow Lane, Monsey, New York, for variances of the requirements of Section 376-41 of the Zoning Law of the Town of Ramapo to permit the construction, maintenance and use of a two family dwelling, which will have less than the required lot area, lot width (Grove Street), front setback (Meadow Lane), front setback (Grove Street), front yard (Meadow lane), front yard (Grove Street), rear setback, rear setback (deck) and greater than permitted floor area ratio. The property in question is located on the east side of Meadow Lane, 0 feet south from the intersection of Grove Street, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section 56.11-3-10 in an R-15A zone.

 

Application of Congregation Tillu Miller, 7 Jeffrey Place, Monsey, New York, for variances of the requirements of Section 376-41 of the Zoning Law of the Town of Ramapo to permit the construction, maintenance and use of a three family dwelling with three accessory apartment, which will have less than the required lot area, front setback, front yard, side setback, total side setback, rear setback, rear setback, (deck) and greater than permitted development coverage. The property in question is located on the west side of Howard Drive, approximately 275 feet north from the intersection of Maple Avenue, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section 56.08-3-36 in an R-15C zone.

 

Application of Jacob Nojovits, 2 Tower Lane, Monsey, New York, for variances of the requirements of Section 376-41 of the Zoning Law of the Town of Ramapo to permit the construction, maintenance and use of an addition and deck to an existing single family dwelling, which will have less than the required total side setback. The property in question is located on the south side of Tower Lane, approximately 100 feet east from the intersection of Eastview Drive, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section 56.1-1-14 in an R-15A zone.

 

Application of Tzvi Goldring, 16 Stoneham Lane, New City, New York, for variances of the requirements of Section 376-71 of the Zoning Law of the Town of Ramapo to permit the construction, maintenance and use of a single family dwelling, which will contain parking in the required front yard. The property in question is located on the south side of Stoneham Lane, 0 feet west from the intersection of Butternut Drive, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section 42.15-2-10 in an R-35 zone.
