ZBA Meeting for May 20, 2021 Rescheduled to May 26, 2021 6:45PM

LEGAL NOTICE 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a remote Meeting will be held by the Zoning Board  of Appeals of the Town of Ramapo on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 6:45 p.m., or as soon thereafter as all matters can be heard at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, New York. The remote Meeting will be held via the ZOOM platform as Governor Cuomo's Executive Orders allows.  The public will be able to watch or listen to the Meeting, which will be recorded, and a transcript will be available later.  Minutes of actions taken at the meeting will be filed in the Town Clerk's office as soon as possible.  As in-person attendance by board members, applicants and interested members of the public is not permitted because of the COVID-19 Executive Orders issued by the Governor, the procedure for those wishing to participate via ZOOM in the scheduled Public Hearings below will be timely posted on the Town website at WWW.RAMAPO.ORG.  

If you wish to speak at the Public Hearing, please send your name, address, and email address to Corryp@ramapo.org.  Please include the application that you wish to speak on no later than 5:00 p.m., prior to the Zoning Board Meeting.

Application # 21-135: Roberts Estate Corp, 1134 38th Street, Brooklyn, NY, for the variances of the requirements of Section 376-41 of the Zoning Law of the Town of Ramapo to permit the construction, maintenance and use of a two-family, which will have less than the required lot area, lot width, front setback, front yard, side setback, total side setback, rear setback, street frontage, rear setback (deck) and greater than permitted floor area ratio.  The property in question is: 3 Roberts Road, Monsey, New York, located on the east side of Roberts Road, approximately 219 feet east from the intersection of Suffern Place, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section 56.12-2-28 in an R-15 zone. 

Application # 21-136: MRB Developers, LLC, 8 Rovna Court, #203, Monroe, New York, for the variances of the requirements of Section 376-41 of the Zoning Law of the Town of Ramapo to permit the construction, maintenance and use of three-family dwelling with one accessory apartment, which will have less than the requiredside setback, total side setback, greater than permitted development coverage and greater than permitted floor area ratioA variance will also be required from Section 376-65C, in which greater than permitted apartment size cannot exceed fifty (50%) percent of the principal structure.  The property in question is: 53 Main Street, Monsey, New York, located on the west side of Main Street,  approximately100feet south from the intersection of Lane Street, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section 56.11-2-780 in an R-15C zone.  

Application # 21-137: Nathan and Faiga Biller, 7 Miele Road, Monsey, New York, for the variances of the requirements of Section 376-41 of the Zoning Law of the Town of Ramapo to permit the construction, maintenance and use of  two-family dwelling with one accessory apartment, which will have less than the required lot area, lot width, side setback, total side setback, street frontage, greater than permitted development coverage and greater than permitted floor area ratio.  The property in question is: 7 Miele Road, Monsey, New York, located on the south side of Miele Road, approximately 250feet east from the intersection of Summit Avenue, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section 56.15-3-33 in an R-15A zone.  

Application # 21-138: 3 Suffern PL, LLC, 7 Joshua Court, Monsey,New York, for the variances of the requirements of Section 376-41 of the Zoning Law of the Town of Ramapo to permit the construction, maintenance and use of atwo-family dwelling (under construction), which will havegreater than the permitted building height and greater than permitted floor area ratio.  The property in question is: 3 Suffern Place, Monsey, New York, located on the east side ofSuffern Place, approximately 200 feet east from the intersection ofRoute 59, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section 50.14-3-32 in an R-15 zone.  

Application # 21-139: Keren PinchasElya, Inc.,3 Horizon Court, Unit 101, Monsey, New York, for the variances of the requirements of Section 376-41 of the Zoning Law of the Town of Ramapo to permit the construction, maintenance and use of a two-family dwelling (existing), which will have less than the required rear setback. The property in question is: 1 Johanna Lane, Monsey, New York, located on the west Johanna Lane, approximately 217 feet north from the intersection of Roberts Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section 56.15-1-18 in an R-15 zone.  

Application # 21-141: Hana Klagsbrun, 1511 50th Street Brooklyn, New York, for the variances of the requirements of Section 376-41 of the Zoning Law of the Town of Ramapo to permit the construction, maintenance and use of  two-family dwelling, which will have less than the required rear setback and greater than permitted floor area ratio.  The property in question is: 2 Johanna Lane, Monsey, New York, located on the west side of Johanna Lane, approximately 230feet west from the intersection of Roberts Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section 56.15-1-17 in an R-15 zone.
