Planning Board Meeting October 26, 2021 at 8:00 pm IN PERSON IN COURT ROOM

LEGAL NOTICE


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo will hold a meeting at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, New York, on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 8:00pm, and open public hearings on the following application(s) at 8:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, for the purpose of allowing the public to be heard on those matters, and the hearing may thereafter be closed or continued.
Please note that this Planning Board meeting will be held in-person.


At the meeting, the Planning Board will hold Public Hearings on the following application(s). Links to files containing the application and supporting documents are available on the Town website using the posted meeting agenda.


1. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and Site Plan Discussion with respect to an application of Suez Water New York Inc., 162 Old Mill Road, West Nyack, NY 10994, with respect to a drawing entitled Suez Water PFAS Compliance Eckerson Well #71, consisting of construction of a new building to house equipment for PFAS treatment on the 2.64 acre site. The property in question is located at 123 East Eckerson Road, Spring Valley, on the North side of Eckerson Road, approximately 160 feet East of Rockland Parkway, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 50.15-2-51 in an R-15 Zone. The Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA action on August 4, 2021 and a coordinated review was initiated on September 2, 2021. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.


2. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and Site Plan Discussion with respect to an application of Suez Water New York Inc., 162 Old Mill Road, West Nyack, NY 10994, with respect to a drawing entitled Suez Water NY PFAS Compliance Pomona Well #38, consisting of construction of a new building to house equipment for PFAS treatment on the 9.514 acre site. The property in question is located at 12 Camp Hill Road, Pomona, New York [formerly 6 Camp Hill Road], on the North side of Camp Hill Road, approximately 150 feet East of the intersection of White Birch Drive and Camp Hill Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 33.13.2-11 in an RR-80 Zone. The Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA action on August 4, 2021 and a coordinated review was initiated on September 2, 2021. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.


3. Application of Ari Waldman, 4 Jeffrey Place, Monsey, New York, for Final Site Plan Approval and Special Permit Approval with respect to a drawing entitled 53-55 Carlton Road, consisting of a proposed conversion of an existing single-family residence to dormitory with caretaker’s residence and proposed building for new school and dormitory on 1.57 acres. The property in question is located at 53 and 55 Carlton Road, Monsey, New York on the South side of Carlton Road and approximately 300 feet South of West Maple Avenue which is known on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lots 49.18-2-22 & 23 in an R-35 zone. On June 22, 2021, the Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA action, determined that preparation of an environmental impact statement was not required, and issued a SEQRA negative declaration.


4. Application of Dovid Feldman, 15 Old Nyack Turnpike, Monsey, New York, 10952 for Final Site Plan Approval with respect to a drawing entitled 20 Old
Nyack Turnpike, to convert an existing single-family residence to a local house of worship with rabbi's residence and private mikvah, as shown on 0.16 acres. The property in question is located at 20 Old Nyack Turnpike, Monsey, New York on the North side of Old Nyack Turnpike and approximately 210 feet West of Hammond Street which is known on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 56.16-2-11 in an R-15A zone. On September 14, 2020, the Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA action, determined that preparation of an environmental impact statement was not required, and issued a SEQRA negative declaration.


5. Application of Kollel Boker of Monsey, 151 Blauvelt Road, Monsey, New York 10952, for Final Subdivision Approval with respect to a drawing entitled 151 Blauvelt Road, consisting of a proposed two lot subdivision with three family dwelling plus three accessory apartments on Lot #1 and three family dwelling plus two accessory apartments on Lot #2 on 0.37 acres. The property in question is located at 151 Blauvelt Road, Monsey, New York on the West side of Blauvelt Road and approximately 240 feet North of Manor Drive which is known on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 49.19-5-34 in an R-15C zone. On November 24, 2020, the Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA action, determined that preparation of an environmental impact statement was not required, and issued a SEQRA negative declaration.
