LEGAL NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo will meet on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 8:00pm and will open public hearings on the following application(s) at 8:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, for the purpose of allowing the public to be heard on those applications.

It is anticipated that this will be a remote meeting using the Zoom conferencing platform.

The meeting will be convened at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, NY, but the Board members, applicants and their representatives, and the public will attend the meeting remotely via the Zoom platform, using the instructions below.

At the meeting, the Planning Board will hold Public Hearings on the following application(s). After providing opportunity for those present and wishing to be heard to address the Planning Board, the Board will determine whether a Public Hearing should be closed or continued. Links to files containing the application and supporting documents are available on the Town website using the posted meeting agenda. Application files may be updated before the public hearing is opened to include applicant submissions and agency reviews received on or before the date of the hearing.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the current statutory authority for public bodies to conduct remote meetings will expire on or before June 8, 2022.

1. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and Sketch Plat Approval with respect to an application of Jacob Silverstein, 17 Edwin Lane, Monsey, New York 10952 for approval of a subdivision plan entitled “64 Saddle River Road” and a project entitled Saddle River Park. Consisting of a three-family dwelling with three accessory apartments semi-attached on each lot on the 0.48-acre site. The property in question is located at 64 Saddle River Road, Monsey, New York 10952 on the West side of Saddle River Road approximately 100 feet South of Grove Street, is designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 56.11-3-12.2 and is located in a R-15C zone. The Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA action on February 22, 2022 and a coordinated review was initiated on February 14, 2022. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.

2. Application of Samuel and Dina Klein, 8 Francis Place, Monsey, New York, 10952, for Final Subdivision Approval of a subdivision plan entitled “Proposed Subdivision of Lot Line for Klein”, consisting of a lot line shift between 8 & 10 Francis Place, a 0.74 acre site. The property in question is located at 8 & 10 Francis Place Monsey, New York, 10952, on the East side of Francis Place, approximately 195 feet South of Nancy Lane, which is
known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 49.20-3-55 & 56 in an R-15C Zone. On July 13, 2021, the Planning Board classified the proposed action as a Type II SEQRA action.
