NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo will hold a meeting at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, New York or via Zoom on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 8:00pm, and open public hearings on the following application(s) at 8:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, for the purpose of allowing the public to be heard on those matters, and the hearing may thereafter be closed or continued. At the meeting, the Planning Board will hold Public Hearings on the following application(s). Links to files containing the application and supporting documents are available on the Town website using the posted meeting agenda.

  1. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), Revised Site Plan Approval and Revised Special Permit Approval with respect to an application of Congregation Bais Yaakov of Ramapo, 16 Herschel Terrace, Monsey, New York 10952, of a drawing entitled Bais Yaakov of Ramapo consisting of a proposed addition of auditorium building and related improvements to an existing school on 17.4 acres. The property in question is located at 984 Haverstraw Road, Suffern, New York on the west side of Haverstraw Road approximately 400 feet north of Lime Kiln Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 32.17-2-3 in an RR-80 zone. This application was the subject of a public hearing by the Planning Board at its March 9, 2021 meeting, which was then continued by the Planning Board without date pending the submission of additional information from the applicant. That submission has been made and the hearing will continue; submissions made at those prior meetings will be considered part of the public hearing record. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.

 

  1. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and Site Plan Discussion with respect to an application of Ephraim Grossman, 27 Robert Pitt Drive, Monsey, New York, 10952 with respect to a drawing entitled Route 202 Business Park, consisting of a one-story warehouse with mezzanine and 4-story office building on a 13-acre lot. The property in question is located at 103 Ladentown Road, and 110 Camp Hill Road, Pomona, New York 10970 on the North side of Ladentown Road, approximately 450 feet East of Camp Hill Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 33.05-2-2 &5 in a PI Zone.  The Planning Board classified the proposed action as a Type 1 SEQRA Action on July 13, 2021, and a coordinated review was initiated on July 19, 2021.  Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.

 

  1. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and Revised Site Plan Approval with respect to an application of Harry Schonfeld, 64 Truman Avenue, Spring Valley, New York 10977, with respect to a drawing entitled Truman Prime Properties, LLC, consisting of a proposed two-story addition to an existing office building on .21 acres. 324 North Main Street, Spring Valley, New York, on the West side of Main Street (Rt 45) and approximately 700 feet South of Williams Avenue which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 50.14-2-3 in an NS zone. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.
