NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo will hold a meeting at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, New York or via Zoom on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 8:00pm, and open public hearings on the following application(s) at 8:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, for the purpose of allowing the public to be heard on those matters, and the hearing may thereafter be closed or continued. At the meeting, the Planning Board will hold Public Hearings on the following application(s). Links to files containing the application and supporting documents are available on the Town website using the posted meeting agenda.

Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and Site Plan Discussion with respect to an application of United Talmudical Academy of Monsey Inc, 520 Chestnut Ridge Road, Spring Valley, New York 10977 with respect to a drawing entitled United Talmudical Academy of Monsey Inc (at 415 Viola Road), consisting of renovations and a two-story addition to an existing one-story school on 5.66 acres. The property in question is located at 415 Viola Road, Spring Valley, New York, 10977 on the South side of Viola Road, approximately 517 feet West of Kakiat Court, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 49.12-2-52.12 in an R-25 Zone. The Planning Board classified the proposed action as a Type 1 SEQRA action on August 10, 2021 and a coordinated review was initiated on September 8, 2021. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.


2. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and Sketch Plat Approval with respect to an application of 4 Crown LLC, 35 West Street, Suite 202, Spring Valley, New York 10977, with respect to a drawing entitled 4 Crown Road, a 0.37-acre lot consisting of a two-lot subdivision with a two- family dwelling with two accessory apartments on each lot. The building will be semi-attached, and the existing dwelling will be removed. The property in question is located at 4 Crown Road, Monsey, New York, 10952 on the North side of Crown Road, approximately 90 feet North of Cedar Lane, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 49.15-3-31 in an R-15C Zone. The Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA action on August 10, 2021, and a coordinated review was initiated on September 8, 2021. Please take notice that this Public  Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.

Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and Site Plan Discussion with respect to an application of Suez Water New York Inc., 162 Old Mill Road, West Nyack, NY 10994, with respect to a drawing entitled Monsey Well 31A, consisting of construction of a new building to house equipment for PFAS treatment on the 0.4 acre site. The property in question is located at 10 Glen Drive, Monsey, New York, 10952, on the South side of Route 59, approximately 790 feet West of Route 306, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 56.15-3-48 in an R-35 Zone. The Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA action on October 12, 2021, and a coordinated review was initiated on October 20, 2021. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.


4. Re-Affirm determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and Revised Site Plan discussion, dated July 30, 2019 with respect to an application of Sara Klein, 19 Briarwood Lane, Suffern, New York, 10901, with respect to a drawing entitled 19 Briarwood Ln, which proposes Revised Site Plan of a Local House of Worship with Rabbi Residence on 1.15 acres. The property in question is located at 19 Briarwood Lane, Suffern, New York, 10901 on the North side of Briarwood Lane Street, approximately 2000 feet West of College Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 49.13-2-2 in an R-50 Zone. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this
Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.


5. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and Revised Site Plan Approval with respect to an application of Ari Waldman, 4 Jeffrey Place, Monsey, New York, 10952, with respect to a drawing entitled 261 Route 306-Bnos School, consisting of the addition of a modular school building to existing school to the on 1.2251-acre site. The property in question is located at 261 Route 306, Monsey, New York 10952 on the West side of Route 306, approximately 100 feet North of Viola Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 49.7-1-38 in an R-40 Zone. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.
