SAINT CENTER PROGRAMS APPEAL TO ALL AGES

April 14, 2008

Last year, the Joseph T. St. Lawrence Community, Health & Sports Center was named the best recreation facility in New York State by the N.Y.S. Recreation & Parks Society and its stellar reputation continues to grow.  The facility’s outdoor turf field and sports dome indoor turf field is reserved months in advance by local recreation groups, elementary schools, high schools and colleges.

The Community Center proper offers a wide variety of sports and special interest programs – including personal fitness training, dance lessons in the foxtrot, waltz, tango, rumba, the east coast swing, family gym, open basketball and volleyball, racquet ball, birthday parties, yoga, yoga aerobics, zumba exercise, cardio conditioning, kickboxing, body sculpting, tai-chi, belly dancing, senior citizens exercise classes, afterschool child care for ages two and up, family fun nights – just to name a few!  Call for a tour of this award winning complex – (845) 357-2324 or send an e-mail to Mike Leslie at lesliem@ramapo.org .

Annual Drive-In Movie Night – Friday, April 18th at 7:30 PM 

Please join us on Friday night, April 18th at 7:30 PM for our annual Drive-In Movie at Spook Rock Pool parking lot starting at 7:30 PM  “Shrek The Third” will be presented on a huge 40 ft. screen with audio coming through your car speaker!  Limited number of tickets are available call 357-6100 for more information.

Big Screen Classic Movie – Saturday, April 19th - 11:30 AM at the Lafayette Theater

“Mr. Smith Goes To Washington” starring James Stewart & Jean Arthur.  The movie feature begins at 11:30 AM, preceded by organ music by Jeff Barker at 11:00 AM.  Ramapo Seniors are admitted free of charge and all other tickets are $7.00.  For further information call Phil Tisi at 357-5100 ext. 201.
